Just Us Girls #339 - Color Week

One of our newest Design Team members, Judy is our hostess at Just Us Girls for our Color Week and she has provided us with this gorgeous color palette!

Pop on over the the JUGS Blog to see what our Guest Designer - Angie Cimbala and the rest of the JUGS Girls have done with this soft, springy colors.

Spritzed some peach shimmery spray on an ivory piece, then stamped the flowers from Unity - Insightful Meadows with Dusty Concord Distress Ink and lifted some of the color by applying s little water and blotting it off with a paper towel.  Layered it onto a strip of Lovely Lavender cardstock and distressed the edges.  Added the sentiment banner by Gina Marie.  Added the lattice cover plate over peach cardstock by Gina K.  It looked a little bland, so before adhering the lattice I stamped some Kitchen Sink Flourishes onto the peach cardstock so that it peeks through the lattice.

What do these colors inspire you to create?  Come play along with us and you could be chosen as our next Chic of the Week, which would then make you eligible for a chance to be our next Guest Designer!  Please limit your entries to 3.

I just LOVE this, Sue!!! You used the colors beautifully, and I especially love how you have done the flowers. Lifting the color just makes them pop. Well done!!!

I love the floral panel on your card, Sue, and the lifting technique. The lattice behind shows off the panel beautifully.
