Love and Celebrate

I have a couple of cards to post today.  The first one is a birthday card for my nephew following a couple of challenges.
CAS-ual Fridays

And Cardz 4 Guyz using the Triple Mat Technique

Cardz 4 Guyz Logo

I used Delicata Golden Glitz ink on kraft for the background using a CASual Fridays stamp from Rad.  Instead of matting each layer, I sponged Walnut Distress Ink around the edges to define them.  Added the bottle from Altenew which was stamped with Mustard Seed and then sponged around the edge with more Walnut, both Distress Inks.  Added some patterned paper for the label and layered the "celebrate" onto a dark chocolate oval.

And another card using the sketch from Freshly Made Sketches

The hexagon heart borders were stamped with Versamark and heat embossed with Warm Red ep.  Added some clear glitter gel pen to the little hearts.  Stamped the LOVE in black on some ivory cardstock, colored the heart and added some glaze gel pen to make the heart shiny.  Both of these stamps are from Gina K.  Added the falling hearts stamp from Altenew with Memento Love Letter.

Thanks for taking a closer look!

Two fantastic cards especially love the first with the gold on Kraft but both are beautifully done.

Two beautiful cards. I liked your idea of inking the edges instead of matting. Thanks for joining in at Cardz 4 Guyz.
